I’m Olivia! An American with Croatian roots who moved to Zagreb in 2014 and hasn’t left. I run Inspired by Croatia, and after a decade of living here I’ve developed a very specific skill: knowing the difference between what Croatia actually is and what it looks like on Instagram.
I’ll tell you which islands are worth the ferry, which “hidden gems” have been on every travel reel for three years, and which restaurant has no social media presence and the best food on the coast. On our call, you get my local insights. No recycled recommendations, no AI itinerary, and no advice from someone who visited Croatia once and went home to write a blog post about it.
How it works
We get on a 45-minute call and figure out your trip together. Where you want to go, how long you have, what kind of traveler you are, what matters to you and what doesn’t. I ask the questions, you answer them, and by the end of the call you have a clear direction.
Then I put it all together in a full written recap: your day-by-day itinerary, specific hotel recommendations with direct booking links, restaurants worth seeking out, things to skip, logistics you need to know. Everything in one place so you can stop researching and start looking forward to it.
